Mrs. Ira Etta C. Kemper, wife of Mr. K. Kemper, died at her home, on north Washington street, at 9 o’clock this morning.
The deceased had been critically ill for some time, and her relatives and friends had endured no little anxiety as to the result of her indisposition. Her condition had fluctuated, at times causing hope for her recovery and then grave apprehensions, until this morning, when death overtook her.
The deceased was a daughter of Judge Garrett of Albemarle, and during her residence of about thirty years in this city she had made many friends.
