UNION CITY, Ind. - Jesse F. Coblentz, 77 a retired farmer who had resided in this community his entire life, died at 8:30 p.m. Sunday in the Union City Memorial Hospital. He had been in ill health for six months.
Survivors are his wife, Laura (Cain) Coblentz, four sons, Nathan and Clarence, both of Union City; Kenneth, Winchester; and John, Ansonia, Ohio; three daughters, Mrs. Auneta Cox, Mrs. Wanda Welch and Mrs. Martha Cochran, all of Union City; three sisters, Mrs. Ava Hampshire, Union City; Mrs. Ola Penrod, Eaton, Ohio; and Mrs. Emma Cain, San Fernando, Calif.; 24 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Brooks and Sons Funeral Home by Rev. Harold Freeman. Burial will be in the New Lisbon Cemetary. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Tuesday.
