MRS. THOMAS PEARL
The following from the Seattle Post Intelligencer of Nov. 14, 1903, gives the following Interesting facts about the death of a former Owego lady, the wife of former Sheriff Thomas F. Pearl who will be remembered by many Owego people:
"Mrs. Alice S. Pearl, wife of Thomas F.Pearl, died at the family residence, 1726 Sixteenth Street, yesterday afternoon. She was 66 years of age and had been a resident of Seattle for 13 years. During that time she had been one of the most active members of the Woman's Relief corps and everything appertaining to the Grand Army. Beside her husband, Mrs. Pearl leaves four children: Mrs Harrison Bostwick, Mrs. Corey and Miss Jessie M. Pearl, all residing here, and Frank L. Pearl, who lives at Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs Pearl were married 49 years ago last Wednesday and until a short time ago Mrs. Pearl had been in good health."
