Mrs. A. C. Miller died Friday afternoon at her home Six miles southwest of Decatur after an illness of six months, aged 52 years. Mrs. Miller was the daughter of William A. Austin and was born within a mile and a half of her late home. In 1871 she was married to A. C. Miller, who survives her together with six daughters, and one son and one step-son. Mrs. Miller joined the Christian church in 1872 but at the time of her death she was a member of the Salem Baptist church. The funeral was held from Salem church Saturday afternoon at 8 o'clock. Rev. Mr. Lily officiated, and the interment was at Salem cemetery. The pallbearers were James Paramenter, B. W. Rowe, H. J. Edwards, James Johnson, F. M. Browning and W. H. Price.
