Brimhall, Kermit Eugene Brimhall OGDEN - Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle, finished his last work on this earth, Monday, March 28, 2005, surrounded by his loving family. He died of natural causes at the age of 81. Kerm was born July 18, 1923, in Vernal, Utah, to Jenny Bowthorpe and Earl Brimhall. He married the love of his life, Myrna Nayon Smuin, on November 10, 1954. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 2004. He was a general contractor and heavy equipment operator, building and developing in the Davis and Weber County area for 40 years. He loved to camp, hunt and fish, and to spend time outdoors with his family and friends. Being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Church, he spent several years as a Scoutmaster in West Point and helped many young men earn the rank of Eagle Scout. He had many fond memories of his work with the Boy Scouts. His favorite past t ime was helping anyone in need of fixing or building anything. He was always available to help someone in need. He is remembered for his generosity, kindness, honesty and strength. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Nayon; three daughters, Jeri Daines, Ogden; Rea Jane Brimhall, Salt Lake City; Tami (Mike) Draper, South Weber; three sons, Joseph (Ami), Camas, Washington; Jeff (Carrie), West Point; Brent (Terri), Clinton; 22 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a brother, Keith (Mariam), Ogden; and a sister, Mary (William) Backus, Clinton. Kerm was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Adair Brimhall, two sisters, Virginia and Edna, and one grandchild, Benjamin Earl Brimhall. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist's Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South. Friends and family may call on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., and Friday from 9:45 to 10:45 at the mortuary. Interment, West Point City Cemetery.
