Born Oct. 27, 1916, in Vernal, Utah to Earl Morgan Brimhall and Jeannie Bowthorpe Brimhall, oldest of five children. She married Floyd Herbert Schofield August 28, 1939.
Floyd preceded her in death on April 10, 1983, as well as a brother, Adair Brimhall and a sister, Virginia.
Edna is survived by her two sons, Floyd L. (Martie) Schofield, and Daniel R. (Betty) Schofield; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; as well as a sister-in-law, Marie Brimhall; brothers, Keith (Mariam) Brimhall; Kermit (Nayon) Brimhall; sister, Mary (Bill) Backus.
Edna enjoyed gardening, and was very knowledgeable of every plant, tree, or flower that ever grew. She was an excellent seamstress, working in draperies, alterations, and making of clothing. She also worked selling insurance for a number of years.
Edna was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The light of her life was her children and grandchildren.
She was loved and will be greatly missed by all.
Services will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2002, at 11:00 a.m. at the Holladay - Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 South Highland Drive. Prior to the services, friends and family may call from 9:45 a.m.10:45 a.m. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 So. Highland Dr.
