PORTAGE -- Services for Daniel Shockley, 91, of 3101 County Line Road, who died Sunday at Canterbury Nursing Home, Valparaiso, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Olson and Frum Portage Chapel with the Rev. Kenneth Blair officiating. Burial will be in Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 10 p.m. Wednesday.
He is survived by five daughters, Bernadene Grimes of Kingman, Ariz., Mrs. Leo (Beulah) Gross of Avenal, Calif., Venetta Wood of St. Petersburg, Fla., Helen Kenniger of Phoenix and Mrs. John (Laura Belle) Wotherspoon of Portage; three half-sisters, 11 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.
He was a member of the Glen Park Christian Church.
