George C. Cutler, 43, mechanic of Jasper, died at 2 a.m. Tuesday at his home of a heart ailment. He had beenin failing health since December.
A native of Pike county, he was born November 29, 1909 in Jasper, a son of Newell and Grayce Shoemaker Cutler. He was preceded in death by his father, but his mother survives and now resided in Columbus.
Living his entire lifetime in the same community he married Ethel Woolridge who survives.
He is also survived by five daughters, Kathleen, Joan, Mary, Marion and Georgia Ann Cutler, all of Jasper; four brothers, Myron Cutler of Jasper, Joe and Glenn Cutler, both of Columbus, and Calvin Cutler of Chillicothe; and four sisters, Mrs. A Diddle, of Portsmouth, Mrs. Hugh Rice of Akron, Mrs. John Tomlin and Miss Frances Cutler, both of Columbus.
The body was taken to the Howe Company Funeral Home in Piketon pending funeral arrangements, which were not available as this early edition went to press.
