Hannah Mable Hake was the daughter of Frederick John Hake and Ann Mary Hewitt. Her paternal grandparents were Christian Hake Sr. and Barbara Hake.

Hannah married John M. Hake, her third cousin, on 4 September 1891 in Trumbull County, Ohio. John L. Herzog, Justice of the Peace, presided. They had no children.

The common ancestor to Hannah Mabel Hake and John Manuel Hake was Johann Friedrich Hake.

In 1900, Hannah was living with her sister, Esther Hake Pound in Ransom, Hillsdale County, Michigan. The 1900 Federal Census records indicates that neither Hannah nor Esther had children.
