Masonic services for Mr. James Harold Clark, 58, of Allons, were conducted at 7 p.m. Friday, October 12, 2001, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 13, 2001, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Rev. Terry McCloud officiating. Burial was in the Bethel Cemetery with full Honors Military Service by James T. Davis Honor Guard #5062 with Speck Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Clark died Wednesday, October 10, 2001, at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville. He was the current Overton County Trustee, as well as a U.S. Army Veteran, a member of the Livingston Lodge #259, and a life-long member of V.F.W./James T. Davis Memorial Post #5062.
Born October 22, 1942, in Overton County, he was the son of the late Hoy L. Sr. and Ida Ann (Ledbetter) Clark.
Survivors include his wife, Ann L. Clark, Allons; two sons and daughters-in-law, Darwin and Pat Clark, Livingston, and David and Aleshia Clark, Allons; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sandy and Jeff Stephens, Monroe, and Peggy and Gary Smith, Hilham; three brothers, Linzie Clark, Livingston, Walter Clark, McMinnville, and Hoy Landon Clark Jr., Rickman; and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Gerald Clark, Mitch Copeland, David Clark, Jimmy Clark, Matthew Reeder, David Ledbetter, and Bobby Thompson. Serving as honorary pallbearers were the Overton County Officials, Justin Hill, Logan Clark, and Martha Grace Clark.
