Mr. Walter O. Clark age 88 of Morrison, TN. (Jacksboro Community) died Thursday. August 28, 2014, at Saint Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN. He was born February 25, 1926 in Livingston, TN., served his county during WWII in the U.S. Navy, and was a farmer. He attended Caney Branch The Baptist Church, and Trousdale Church of Christ throughout the years. Mr. Clark was preceded in death by his parents Hoy Landon, Sr. and Ida Ann (Ledbetter) Clark, his wife Rowena Clark, a granddaughter Heather Clark, and daughter in law Anne McGlothin Clark.
Survivors include daughter and son in law Carolyn and J. C. LaFevor of McMinnville, TN, son Walter Jerry Clark of Arizona, grandchildren Daniel (Rebecca) LaFever, Jeff (Cassie) LaFever, and Hannah Vanghan, great grandson Samuel Vaughan and many other family members and friends.
Funeral service will be 2 PM Sunday, August 31, 2014 in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Leonard Herman and Dave Dawson will officiate. Interment will follow at Trousdale Cemetery. The Clark Family will receive friends from 5 PM until 9 PM on Saturday and again from 10 AM until 2 PM Sunday at the parlor of McMinnville Funeral Home.
Memorial donations may be made to the Ivy Bluff Church of Christ Lunch Program or to the Trousdale Cemetery.
