DIED

At her residence in the city of Fairview, Sanpete County, of lung fever, SARAH JANE ANDERSON, wife of Archibald Anderson, and daughter of Thomas J. and Margaret (Davis) Reese. Deceased was born in Merthyr Tydvil, Glamorganshire, South Wales, on the 9th day of May, 1844; was baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1853, and has remained a faithful member of the Church since that time. She emigrated to this county in 1856 crossing the plains in Captain Bunker's hand-cart company. She was married August 23d, 1859, to Brother Archibald Anderson, with whom she now leaves 10 living children (eight girls and two boys). She proved herself to be a true Latter-day Saint, a faithful and loving wife and mother, and a kind neighbor to all who knew her. Her departure from our midst is severely felt by the family, whose present afflictions are also deeply shared by a large circle of relatives and friends.
