Gilbert Alfred William Klenke, oldest son of Mr. & Mrs. Frank Klenke, whose death was announced in Tuesday's issue of the Tribune, was born near Union, Mo. December 12, 1917, and at the time of his death on Sunday, December 9, 1928, had reached the age of 10 years, 11 months and 27 days. Little Gilbert's death was death was very sudden, as he was up and around just the day previous to his death. Medical aid was summoned and everything that was possible was done but to no avail.

Funeral services were held from the Immaculate Conception Church, this city, on Tuesday morning , December 11, 1928, and interment was made in the church cemetery, Father Hubert, pastor of the church officiating.

Beside his parents, ( note - Frank Klenke & Anna Fees Klenke) Little Gilbert is survived by five sisters and two brothers, namely, Helen, Wilhelmina, Leola, Anita, Robert, Richard and Marcella.
