Harry F. Dawes
Mathews - Harry Frank Dawes, 59, of Mathews, died Sunday at his home.
A native of Ohio, he was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, an Army veteran of World War II and was employed at the Naval Weapons Station, Yorktown.
Survivors include a son, Richard F. Dawes of Newport News; his mother, Mrs. Alice Dawes, and two sisters, Mrs. Georgia Coppage and Mrs. Alice Houffer, all of Miami, Fla.; and five grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home, Mathews, by the Rev. Edward Pruitt of Mathews United Methodist Charge.
Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery, Susan.
