Mr. Taylor was born June 25, 1911 in New Orleans and had been a lifelong resident of Lucedale. He retired as a supervisor and paint leaderman with Ingalls Shipbuilding.
He was a member of First Baptist Church in Pascagoula and attended Barton Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sara Inez Luter Taylor.
Survivors include a son, Harry J. Taylor of Grand Bay, Ala.; two sisters, Beverly McCloud and Virgie Davis, both of Pascagoula; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 tonight at Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point. A service will be at 10 a m Wednesday at the funeral home chapel, with burial in Machpelah Cemetery in Pascagoula.
