She was married three times (Vernon, Miley (Anderson), & Powell), but was going by her maiden name when she died.

Miss Loveta Vernon and Jeff Anderson, both of Modesto, Calif., were married recently in the home of the Rev. William R. Baird, Modesto. Mr. Baird read the single ring ceremony. Attendants were Mrs. Lavinia Love, sister of the bride and Woodrow Love. The bride is a former resident of Ardmore, at 1021 Carter SE. She was employed her at Tom Cooper Farms."

Loveta L. Dodson, 78, died Thursday in a Las Vegas hospital. She was born Jan. 6, 1922, in Yarnaby, Okla. A homemaker, she was a 35 year resident of Las Vegas.

She is survived by her daughters, Helen Brown of Nor Las Vegas, Kathryn Payne of Yankeetown, Fla., and Juanita Masse of Las Vegas; son, Jeffrey Miley of Henderson: brother, James Jr. of Ardmore, Okla; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Palm Mortuary-Downtown."
