JUNIUS M. BAYLOR

Junius M. Baylor died following an accident at his chopping mill outside of Staunton. Baylor was the son of Col. George Baylor.

Funeral at Lutheran Church led by Rev. J.M. Seiss of Baltimore. Buried at Thornrose Cemetery.

Grand uncle, Col. Martin Baylor was killed in a mill, while his uncle, Andrew J. Baylor was killed near the location where Junius died.

Baylor was named for Junius M. Fishburn, professor at Washington College, who died March 26, 1858. Both were born in Waynesboro.
