Hawkinsville - John Cleveland Sparrow, age 65 of Hawkinsville, GA, died Sunday, June 07, 2009 at Taylor Regional Hospital in Hawkinsville. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at 10:30 at Corinth Baptist Church with Rev. Buddy Conway officiating. Interment will be in Orange Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Sparrow was a native of Pulaski County, GA and a member of Corinth Baptist Church. He was retired from Lamar Pecan Company. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.

Survirors include his wife Patricia P. Sparrow of Hawkinsville, GA; son, David Lancaster of Hawkinsville, GA; Daughter, Lynn Hawley of West Columbia South Carolina; brother Ernest Gainer (Nellie) Sparrow, Jr. of Cochran, GA; Nephews, Bruce G. Sparrow of Hawkinsville, GA., and John Lawton Sparrow also of Hawkinsville.

Visitation will be Tuesday evening, June 9, 2009 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Clark Funeral Home.
