The daughter of William John Gurney and Martha Emma Bushman. Married Sidney Pehrson, September 7, 1932 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died May 4, 1963. Member of the LDS (Mormon) Church, where she had served as Primary and Relief Society President, Ward Chorister, and taught and served in all the auxiliaries. She loved singing, gardening, flowers, and her grandchildren. She had 41 grandchildren; 80 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren
