Zelma E. Beachum was the 4th daughter and seventh of ten children born to Hugh Wilson Beachum (1870-1940) and his wife Regina Belle Simmons (1865-1945). She married Clyde Lee Tyson (1891-1966). Zelma's children were Nora Belle, Rosa Virginia and Miriam Lois.
