The marriage service was performed by her father, Rev. Thomas Bishop Cook.
She was the mother of six children,David Carlton Shibley, Mary Shibley, William A Shibley, Leah A Shibley, Cyrene Shibley and Harry Bishop Shibley.
Two of the children were deaf (Harry and Mary). Both children went to the school for the deaf in Little Rock, AR and were prominent teachers there until their retirement and/or death.
