Mrs. Jasper N. Sibole, an old time resident of Novinger, died Thursday, April 24.
Phebe M. Cook was Born October 2, 1846, in Dearborn county, Indiana, and departed this life April 23, 1930, at the age of 83 years, 7 months and 22 days. In the year 1856 she came to Missouri in a covered wagon and has been a resident of this neighborhood since.
On December 24, 1867 she was united in marriage to Jasper N. Sibole. To this union were eight children. Four children and husband preceded her in death.
In early life she professed faith in Christ, and united with the Methodist Church. She lived a devoted christian life until the end.
She leaves to mourn her departure, four children, Weltha L. Bybee, Lillie E. Sibole, and Clarence all of Stahl, and Jasper Sibole of Cassville, Arkansas, also nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral sevices were held Saturday, conducted by Rev. Dan Adams, and burial was in Novinger cemetery with Llewellyn & Son in charge.
