MRS. JOHN ROSS
FROSTBURG - Mrs. Laura Ross, 88, of Shaft, died yesterday in Miners Hospital where she had been a patient two weeks
Born in Gilmer County, W. Va., she was a daughter of the late Henry C. and Mary (Ayers) Shimer. She was the widow of John Ross and a member of Trinity Assembly of God Church.
Surviving are four sons. Walter Ross, Pontiac, Mich.; Henry Ross, Loartown; John Ross, Frostburg; and Louis Ross, Shaft; a daughter Mrs. James Blubaugh, Eckhart; a brother, Cleveland Shimer, Eckhart; a twin sister, Mrs. Daisy Beeman, Pontiac; two other sisters, Mrs. Mary Goodwin, Frostburg; Mrs. Ida Robertson, Washington, Pa.; 27 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
The body is at the; Durst Funeral Home where friends will be received today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted tomorrow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home by the Rev. R. W. Richendrier. Burial will be in Frostburg Memorial Park.
