Frank William Cole, 78, of Hiwassee, died early Sunday morning in the Pulaski General Hospital. Born June 15, 1893, in Pulaski Co., he was the son of the late John L. Cole and Mrs. Myrtle Allison Cole. His widow was Mrs. Rosetta Phillips Cole. Survived are two sons, Franklin Cole, Hiwassee, and Carlos Cole, formerly of Hiwassee; seven daughter, Mrs. Eula Cockerille, Leesburg; Mrs. Luther O'Dell and Mrs. Lonnie O'Dell, Hiwassee; Mrs. Myrtle Shepard, Richmond; Mrs. Ella Mae Shepard, Austinville; Mrs. Betty Jean Harris, Rockville and Mrs. Mary Alice Dunford, Tazewell. Also surviving are: one brother, John S. Cole, Washington, DC; six sisters; Mrs. Carl Cecil and Mrs. E.F. Owens, Roanoke; Mrs. A.R. Lindsey, Crab Orchards, WV; Mrs, Elsie Goad and Mrs W.W. Dickerson, Hiwassee and Mrs. Claude Sutphin, Dublin; 23 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday from Cecil's Chapel United Methodist Church with the Rev. Elmer Snelton officiating. Interment will follow in the Cecil's Chapel Church, Cemetery. The body will remain at Stickler's Funeral Home in Pulaski until one hour before the service. Friends may call at the home in Pulaski at anytime.
