COLLINSVILLE - Services for Thurman R. Metcalf, 91, of Collinsville are set for 10 a.m. Friday at Huff Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Marlin Harp officiating. Interment will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro under the direction of the Huff Funeral Home of Whitesboro.
Mr. Metcalf died Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2006, at Wilson N. Jones Medical Center in Sherman.
He was born July 30, 1915, in Kelso, Tenn., to Millard A. Metcalf and Gracie Lovine Davis. He was employed by the Texas Department of Highways and was a Baptist.
Survivors include his sister, Essie Huneycutt of Whitesboro and Monie Teeters of Collinsville; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Danny Teeters, Roger Teeters, Ricky Teeters, Larry Riley, Clayton Riley, Leon Huneycutt, and David Huneycutt.
Visitation will be at the home of Gracie Riley from 6 to 8 p.m. today.
