2 Nov 1916: John F. Andrews, for many years a clerk in Mann's clothing store, died this morning at nine o'clock at his home, 28 South Fifth Street, from the effects of a stroke of apoplexy, which he suffered a week ago. He was 49 years old and leaves his mother, Mrs. Emma J. Andrews, widow of the late Charles Andrews, and two brothers, Harry A. Andrews, the wholesale grocer, and William H. Andrews, living on Third street at Strawberry Alley. He was a member of the First Reformed Church, Mt. Lebanon Lodge, No. 220, F. & A. M., and Gretna Council, Royal Arcanum.
