PAUL LEWIS STERNER SR. - BRODBECKS: Paul L. Sterner, Sr., Brodbecks, RD 1, died Thursday, April 13, 1982 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Goldie Wolfe Baugher Sterner and the late Ruth A. Keeny Sterner.
Born in Codorus Twp.,September 15, 1906, he was the son of the late Ira & Lydia Baugher Sterner. He was a member of the Black Rock Church of the Brethren. He belonged to the auxiliary of the Cross Keys Brethren Home and the Friends of Camp Eder, Fairfield. He was a retired employee of the York Division of Borg-Warner and owned and operated the former Sterner Radio and Electrical Service, Loganville.

Survivors include: Daughter Mary L. Werner, Manchester, Md.; two sons, Clair L. Sterner, York RD 8 and Paul L. Sterner, Jr., York. One step-son, David Baugher, Spring Grove RD 1; one step-daughter, Anna belle Hoover, Spring Grove RD1. Seven grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren, one step-great child. Two sisters, Mary Sweitzer, Glen Rock and Mabel Sterner, Brodbecks. Two brothers, Noah Sterner, Brodbecks and Stuart Sterner, Lancaster, Pa.

Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. at the Black Rock Church of the Brethren, Brodbecks RD 1, with his pastor the Rev. L. Gene Bucher officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Black Rock Church of the Brethren; or the York-Adams Area Lung Association, York, Pa.
