Rebecca Jane Price was born May 16, 1865, at Elmo, Nodaway county, Missouri and departed this life May 23, 1931, at the age of 66 years, 7 days. She was united with the Baptist church in 1889 at Erie, Kansas. During the last few years she has been active in the work of different churches and was particularly interested in the Methodist Sunday School. She was united in marriage to Charles McKendry Kelch, Oct. 7, 1883. To this union were born four sons, one having passed on in infancy. She leaves to mourn her loss, her husband and three sons, Harry L. of Wichita, Arthur C. of Herrington and Charley H. of St. Paul, Minn., six grandchildren and six brothers. Funeral services were held at the home, Monday, May 25th. Burial was in the Herington cemetery. (The accompanying Funeral Notice says services will be held at the home, 831 Pacific Ave., Osawatomie, Kansas.)
