Alfred Link Price, son of Henry and Sarah Snodderly Price. Father of Henry Forrest Price and Cleta Price Tomlinson.

Alfred Link Price, 78, the son of Henry and Sarah Price, was born Oct. 24, 1889, and died Feb. 13 at the Veterans Hospital in Poplar Bluffs after a long illness. He was united in marriage Dec. 20, 1925 to Alma Wolfe and to this union three children were born. He is survived by his wife, of the home; a son, Henry Price of Houston, Tex.; a daughter Cleta Jane Tomlinson of Unionville, Conn.; five grandchildren. During World War I he was with the 27th infantry in Siberia. He was a member of the Union Freewill Baptist Church near Success. Funeral services were held Feb. 15 at the First Baptist Church in Houston, with the Rev. John E. Mathews officiating. Burial was in the Pinelawn Cemetery under the direction of Evans-Elliott.
