MRS. IDA CAMPBELL DEAD
Mrs. Ida Campbell, 61, wife of Dr. Charles A. R. Campbell, died Wednesday morning at the family residence, 223 West Nueva Street. Mrs. Campbell was a native of San Antonio.
Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, Milton F. Campbell of Los Angeles, Cal.; two sisters, Mrs. Emilia Villareal and Miss Julia Hoyer, and two brothers, Charles and Ed Hoyer. Funeral services will be held Friday morning.

The epitaph is one that her husband Dr Charles A R Campbell used in dedicating his 1925 book "Bats, Mosquitoes and Dollars" to his wife:
"The Sweetheart of my boyhood,
The Bride of my manhood,
The unswerving Queen Mother of our little home..."
