Elbert McGaha Jr.
Elbert W. McGaha, Jr., 47 of 103 Albain Circle, Berea, died Monday.

Born in Easley a son of Mrs. Essie Reese McGaha of Easley and the late Elbert W. McGaha, he retired from the United States Air Force after 22 years of service and was presently associated with the General Electric Plant as Quality Control Inspector, a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and Woodmen of the World, Ceder Camp no.3.

Surviving also are his wife, Mrs. Carol Curry McGaha; two daughters, Susan and Sharon McGaha of the home; a son, John Edward McGaha of the home; four sisters, Mrs. Ethel M. Hale of Greenville, Mrs. Mary K. Hardin of Easley, Mrs. Marie M. Morgan of Kokomo, Ind. and Mrs. Martha M. Tipper of Bradenton, Fla.; two half Brothers, Buddy McGaha of Greenville and Roger McGaha of Jacksonville, Fla.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, with burial in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Pickens, with military rites.

The body is at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home where a Christian Wake Service will be held 8 p.m.Wednesday.
