Mrs. Gordon Jones was born in Millerville, Minnesota, on October 12, 1925, the daughter of John and Clara Schmidt Lambertz. She grew to womanhood in the Millerville area and worked in Elbow Lake and Fergus Falls, Minnesota, coming to Alexandria, Minnesota in 1955. She was united in marriage to Gordon Jones on August 5, 1950, at St. Mary's Church in Alexandria, Minnesota. She was very interested in art work sewing and all crafts, very family oriented.
Flavia passed away at her home on March 19, 1987 at the age of 61 years. She is survived by her husband, Gordon Jones; sons: Dan Jones of Renville, Minnesota; Bob Jones of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota; daughters: Kathy Maus, Alexandria, Minnesota; Sue Meggers, Alexandria, Minnesota; brother: Roman Lambertz of Minnetonka, Minnesota; sisters: Mrs. Alois (Grace) Korkowski, Brandon, Minnesota; Mary Revering, Minneapolis, Minnesota; Elmira Pauly, Minneapolis, Minnesota; Mrs. James (Ronnie) Floding, Helena, Montana; Mrs. Clarence (Theresa) Lehn, Brandon, Minnesota; Mrs. Michael (Corine) Povick, Hibbing, Minnesota; Mrs. Bill (Shirley) Kokotovich, St. Paul, Minnesota; and twelve grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Joe Lehn, Mark Lehn, Ken Lambertz, Peter Lambertz, Jim Korkowski and Mike Korkowski. Interment was in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Alexandria, Minnesota. arrangements with Anderson Funeral Home, Alexandria, Minnesota.
