GREENVILLE, Va. - The Rev. Karl Louis Crowe, 82, of Greenville, husband of Dorothy "Dottie" (Gee) Crowe, died Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2006, at Ruxton Health of Staunton. Born Nov. 4, 1923, in Finzel, he was the son of the late Roy Edward and Clara (Wolfe) Crowe. He was also preceded in death by four brothers, the Rev. Raymond Crowe, the Rev. Fred Crowe, Woodrow Crowe and Willard Crowe; and a sister, Hilda Sturtz. The Rev. Crowe was a retired United Methodist Minister, serving in the pastorate for 40 years. In addition to his wife of 54 years, he is survived by five brothers, Frank, Harold and Hubert Crowe, all of Frostburg, Archie Crowe, Keyser, W.Va. and Delford Crowe, Grantsville; and one sister, Ruth Stanton, Grantsville. Funeral services were conducted Saturday, Jan. 7, 2006, at Greenville United Methodist Church with interment following in the church cemetery.
