Funeral services for Mrs. W. B. Sharmon [sic Sharman], 70, a lifelong resident of Ruston, who died at 7 a.m. Friday, were held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the First Baptist Church in Shreveport, with the Rev. G. Avery Lee officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Shreveport [sic Ruston] with Kilpatrick's Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

She is survived by her husband; a son, Lane Sharmon [sic Sharman] of Los Angeles, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. M. C. Oglesby of Ruston, Mrs. O. R. Hammond [sic Hammons] of Longview, Texas, and Mrs. R. I. Lester of Orlando, Fla.; two brothers, Lonnie Jones of Shreveport and Ira Jones of Waco, Texas; three sisters, Mrs. K. C. Hightower and Mrs. Gordon Hagler of Dodson and Mrs. Hal Colvin of Jonesboro; and nine grandchildren. She was also a sister of the late Mrs. R. W. Buce of Winnfield.
