Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Saturday in the Jonesboro First Baptist Church with the Rev. J. W. Buckner officiating. Burial was in the Jonesboro Cemetery.
She was the widow of the late A. H. Colvin, pioneer publisher in Jackson Parish.
Survivors are three sons, Ansley H. Colvin, Jr., T. L. Colvin, Sr., and Lester Colvin, all of Jonesboro; two daughters, Mrs. Monah Johnston of Athens, Ga., and Mrs. Leta Bryan of Wiggins, Miss.; two brothers, L. L. Jones of Shreveport, and Ira Jones of Waco, Tex.; two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Hagler and Mrs. Ruby Hightower of Dodson; and 10 grandchildren.
