Mrs. Eldora Landers

Mrs. Eldora Allen Landers, age 89, died at her home on Route l Roanoke (Chambers County), at. 11:55 p. m. Tuesday. Funeral services were conducted by the Revs. G. D. Hunt and S. M. Penn at Antioch Church at 3 o'clock this Thursday afternoon with burial in the churchyard, Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge. Mrs. Landers is survived by four sons: Will and Adolphus Landers, of Route 1, Roanoke, Jim, of Turlock, Calif., and George, of Albertville; four daughters: Mrs. Will Collier, of Roanoke, Mrs. L. M. Burdette, of Route 1, Roanoke, Mrs. Mack Thompson, of Lanett, and Mrs. E. E. Baird, of Albertville; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Landers had been a member of the Baptist Church for fifty years. She was born in North Carolina. She had made her home on Route 1 for the past sixteen years.
