Mrs. T. G. Bowling Died Here Today.

Mrs. Harriet Bowling, aged 76 years, wife of Mr. T. G. Bowling, died at her home here today about 8 o'clock, after an illness of about one week. The condition of Mrs. Bowling was not thought to be serious when she was first taken to her bed, but rapid developments made her recovery hopeless.
The deceased was a member of the Baptist Church of this city and had been for many years. She was a daughter of the late Hinch Allen, of this community.

Funeral service will be held either from the residence or the Baptist Church some time Friday with Rev. J. B. Laseter, pastor of the deceased, officiating. Interment will be in the local cemetery.

Surviving are a husband, T. G. Bowling; one daughter, Mrs. Clara Nippress, Tampa, Fla.; three sisters, Mrs. John W. Henderson, LaFayette; Mrs. Mary Jane Stanfield, Sylvester, Ga., and Mrs. Ella Landers, Roanoke, and a number of other close relatives and friends in LaFayette and elsewhere.
