HERBERT D DEAN
One of Northville's oldest and best known residents, Herbert D Dean passed away Wednesday, September 18, at the age of 87. The Dean home is on East Cady street.
Funeral services were held at Casternne's Funeral Chapel on Friday, September 20, with Rev. H F Fredsell officiating. Interment was made at Rural Hill
Those who survive him are his wife, May J Dean and a daughter, Dorothy, who is a teacher at Ellensburg, Washington.
Herbert D. Dean was born in Plymouth the son of W. D and Lydia Dean. He has lived in several states but moved to Northville seventeen years ago and remained until the time of his death. Mr. Dean was connected with Government Service and was employed by them for thirty years. At one time he had charge of the local U. S. Fish Hatchery. He was associated with the Presbyterian Church and was very active in the local Masonic lodge."
