Born August 8, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Herbert M. Biddix, Sr. and Laura Lowery Biddix.
She was a native of McDowell County, and retired from Baxter Healthcare.
Mrs. Burleson was a member of Grandview Baptist Church and she dearly loved her church family. She particularly loved the children of the church, and taught the two- and three-year-old Sunday school class.
Mrs. Burleson greatly enjoyed her flowers, and feeding and watching birds.
She was a caring person and a woman of prayer, who loved her family and friends.
Mrs. Burleson was preceded in death by her loving husband of nearly twenty years, Frank Burleson, Sr., her son, Frank Burleson, Jr., and her daughter, Gina Ann Burleson.
Interment will follow at Turkey Cove Baptist Church Cemetery.
