Peggy Ann Biddix Remington, age 78 of Marion, passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at Sunrise Rehabilitation and Care of Nebo. Peggy was born in McDowell County on February 20, 1937 to the late Herbert and Laura Lowery Biddix. She retired from Coats America following many years of service and was a member of Grandview Baptist Church. Her greatest pleasures came from baking and cooking, especially for her family whom she loved very much. Peggy will be remembered as a woman of great faith and a true prayer warrior. She was preceded in death by her husband, DeForest Remington.

Those left to cherish the memories she shared are her brothers, Fate Biddix and Wife Mary Ann, Junior Biddix, and James Biddix and Wife Eva; a sister, Phyllis Dicks and Husband Charles; a number of nieces and nephews and her roommate and close friend, Pat Sisk.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Westmoreland Funeral Home with the Revs. Charles Dicks and Johnny Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Turkey Cove Cemetery.
