Remains removed from the Beall Family Cemetery on Gay Street on July 26, 1871.
Note: The burying ground was alongside the Beall family house, which still stands upon the present N Street, near Thirty-first Street.

BEALL. In the Presbyterian graveyard at Georgetown, District of Columbia, are buried the founder of Georgetown, his wife, and one of their sons, George. The inscriptions are as follows:
Sacred to the Memory of Colonel George Beall. He was born in George Town on the 26th day of February 1729. He died October 15th 1807 in the 79th Year of his Age. He lived respected and died lamented.

He was the son of Colonel George Beall and Elizabeth Brooke Beall.
According to The Brooke Family of Whitchurch, Hampshire, England, he was married to Elizabeth Magruder, whose original surname was McGregor.

George Beall married 1748 Elizabeth Magruder, daughter of Captain Alexander Magruder, born 1707, died 1751 and his wife, Ann Wade.
