Paul Frank Gast, 94, of 214 Parkway Drive, Brillion, died Friday at Bellin Memorial Hospital in Green Bay following a lingering illness.
He was born May 10, 1885, in Berlin, Germany, son of Carl and Henrietta Knoll Gast. On October 15, 1910, he married Delia Meggers at Kiel. He farmed in the Kiel area until 1943, when he moved to Brillion. He was then employed at the Brillion Ironworks until his retirement in 1955. Mr. Gast was a member of Faith United Methodist Church of Brillion.
Survivors include his wife, Delia; one daughter, Mrs. Lloyd Wolfmeyer, Brillion; one son, Gilbert, Kiel; six grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Two sisters and three brothers preceded him in death.
Funeral services were at Faith United Methodist Church, Brillion, with the Rev. Robert Gossett officiating. Burial was in Kiel Cemetery.
