Mr Holbrook was a native of Denver but had been a resident of Northwest Florida since 1973. He was of the Protestant faith and a member of the Christian Church. Mr. Holbrook was a retired US Army Ranger and a member of VFW, the Ranger Association and American Legion.
Survivors include his wife Bonnie Holbrook; four sons, Jason Holbrook and wife Brandi, Tony Holbrook and wife Christie, Tim Wilson, and Michael Lowery and wife Rhonda; daughter, Bobbie Malbeck and husband Wayne; brothers, George Holbrook and wife Verna; and Lawrence Holbrook and wife Billie; sister; Dorothy Copeland; and several grandchildren.
