He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers, 4 sisters and two sons, Michael and Donald.

Left to mourn his passing are his wife of 63 years, Verna (Haeffner) Holbrook and their son Frederick of Summersville, Missouri; grandson, Michael of Arizona; a special nephew, Tim Haeffner and special niece Dorothy (Holbrook) Mowers.

Cremation arrangements were under the care of Bradford Funeral Home and per George's wishes no services are planned.
