DURHAMVILLE __ James C. Sullivan, 43, life long resident of the Irish Ridge section, died Aug 30, 1941, in the farm house in which he was born. He had been in failing health several years.
Mr. Sullivan was a son of Michael and Ann Goodman Sullivan. He was active in affairs of St. Mary's Church of the Ridge and affiliated societies.
Surviving are his wife, who was Bertha Kalmer; five children, Edward, Carolyn, Richard, Patrick and Doris Ann, all at home and seven brothers and sisters, Miss Catherine Sullivan and Mrs., Alice Creedon, Oneida; John Sullivan Durhamville, Mrs. Abbie Tyrell and George Sullivan, Rome Mrs. Nora Kelly, New York and Mrs. Elizabeth Byrne, Durhamville.

Oneida, Aug 30- James C. Sullivan, 43, Irish Ridge farmer, died today at his home. He was born in Irish Ridge in 1897, and had lived there all his life, surviving are his wife, Bertha Kaiser Sullivan; five children, Edward, Carolyn, Richard, Patrick and Doris Sullivan; four sisters, Katherine Sullivan, Oneida; Abbie Tyrell, Syracuse; Elizabeth Byrne, Durhamville, Nora Kelly, Rome; and two brothers, John, Durhamville and George, Syracuse.
Funeral services will be conducted at 9:45 Tuesday at the late home and at 10:15 in St. Mary’s Church, Irish Ridge, with burial in Irish Ridge Cemetery in charge of Whittin & Iles.
