DEATH or WM. HVLAND.—We regret to learn
that Mr. William Uviand, a venerable citizen of
the town of Verona, died at bis residence, at
State Bridge, on the 11th inst., at the advanced age of 79 years. Mr. Hyland was one of the first settlers of the town of Verona, and at the time of his death had been a resident of that town for forty-five years. He was a life-long Democrat, a good natured, clever Irish gentleman, who probably had not an enemy in the world. A large family circle and a host of friends will long remember him for his many good qualities. Peace to his ashes.
