T. M. HYLAND DIES SUDDENLY
Resident of Fish Creek, Eighty two years old, Stricken by heart Disease.
Fish Creek, Feb. 24 - the death of Thomas M. Hyland, which occurred at his home in this village early yesterday afternoon, was due to heart disease, according to the report of Coroner H. J. Teller, who was summoned from Rome to make an investigation.,
Mr. Hyland was 82 years old and resided with his granddaughters, Ruth and Marie. He collapsed while seated in a chair and died within a few minutes.
Mr. Hyland was born near here at what is known as Irish Ridge and was one of the early settlers in this locality. His wife, Melissa Thurston, died in 1902.
Besides his granddaughters, the surviving relatives are a son, B. E. Hyland of State Bridge, a grandson, Harold Hyland, who is studying for the priesthood in Baltimore and a brother Michael H. Hyland of State Bridge.
