She died Sunday, Jan. 9, 2000, at her residence.
She was born Sept. 23, 1917, in Waco. She married Blas V. Mojica on Oct. 30, 1937, in Lubbock. He died Dec. 21, 1979.
She was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady of Grace church for 33 years. She was a Guadalupana as a lifetime member since living in Lockhard. She was in the Legion of Mary in Lockhard.
She is also preceded in death by a son, Jose Richard Mojica, in 1997.
Survivors include seven sons, Blas Mojica, Crecencio Mojica, the Rev. Basilio Mojica, Leonard Mojica, all of Lubbock, Guadalupe Mojica and Antonio Mojica of San Antonio, and Edward Mojica of Amarillo; two daughters, Natalia Salazar and Mary Alice Espinoza of Lubbock; 37 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.
