Augusta Sylvester 77, widow of the late Edgar Sylvester for 40 years or more. She was dressing to make a trip to Mars Hill to visit her daughter, Mrs. B.F. Pierce, when she was suddenly stricken and lived only about 10 minutes. She died at the home of her son, Fay Sylvester, Monday 10-14-1929, where she had been spending much of her time the past few years. She is survived by 5 children, J.E. Sylvester of Los Angeles, CA., Clair and Mrs. Pierce of Mars Hill, Vaughn of Stoughton, MA. and Fay of Gardiner, several grandchildren. Burial Pleasant Hill cemetery.
