Milton F. Morrison, 76, of 218 Buffalo Street, died at 7:45 am Monday of a cerebral hemorrhage in Franklin Hospital, where he had been 10 days, after a falling from a ladder at the home of Miss Harriet Eakin. He was born Feb. 25, 1867 at Congress Hill.
For the past 47 years he lived in Franklin. In his youth he learned the carpenter's trade, and for 30 years worked for Union Tank Line Company, retiring several years ago. He then took up the carpenter's trade again. and was engaged in that work when he was injured. He was a member of 7th Street Church of God, chairman of the Board of Trustees there, and a member of the Masonic Order.
He married Miss Minnie Harry, who died in 1941.
Surviving are two sons, Roy I. of Far Hills, NJ, and Ralph M. of Hamburg, NY.
Services will be at 2:30 pm Wednesday at Boyd N. Park Funeral Home with Rev. Harold W. Woods, his pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Franklin Cemetery.
